The loved ones of teenagers missing after a deadly fire at a bar in a Switzerland's winter destination are confronting an excruciating period of uncertainty for official news and requesting clues about their children online.

The fire engulfed the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of the first day of the year. Verified footage depict the ceiling being engulfed in flames as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.

Authorities have warned that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the fatalities of the fire, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and wounded another scores more. She continued that some of his peers had been found with injuries covering nearly half their bodies. "There are no words; they went through hell."

The Italian foreign ministry has said that a number of of its nationals are still unaccounted for.

One of those is Emanuele Galeppini, a 16-year-old junior golfer, originally from Genoa but now residing in Dubai.

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is no longer with us, without mentioning the tragedy, honoring a "talented young man who embodied passion and true sportsmanship."

His parent, told media that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An representative has clarified that a official announcement of his death is not yet.
